London #3

Oxford Street

Hello World,

on the third and second wholde day in London my friend and I went to Oxford Street for a whole fucking day. I can’t even believe it now that we spent one day there, strolling through shops like Topshop, Primark, Tiger (amazing!), and much more. On that day there was the Tube strike and so we had to take the red buses, did you believe there were so many when you first went to London, I didn’t.

Enjoy the photos and comment your favorite city, if you like.

Herzlichst, Taykure.

The London Eye

Hello World,

this is it, the first day of the best adventure I’ve had so far. My London Photo Diary contain all the places my friend and I went to and also some little bits that I liked. I tell you, you have to go there in your life, it is amazing. We had luck with the weather as I can count off the times it rained by one hand (if it rained, only for approximately 1 hour) and we made the most off our days. From flying alone (like that) for the first time, so trying to get euros into pounds, searching for the right trains and buses to sleeping at a (youth-)hostel for the first time to trying to open a lock with a needle, we had some problems, but all in all I’d do that same trip again if I should choose. Enjoy some photos and yes, you’ll get spammed by London.

Extremely Loud and incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer + Favorites

DSC_0399 DSC_0400

Hello World,

this is actually supposed to be another Book Wrap-up, finally, I am sorry I haven’t done one last month, but I hadn’t red anything and I wasn’t in the mood to make a favorites neither, but back I am in the game. It has just been 1 books this time, but you know, holidays are here and I’m gonna have a full month of things to do, and I’m packing some favorites in here too.

Extremely Loud and incredibly close by Jonathan Safran Foer

Yeah, one book of my Wishlist #3 done!

Description: “In a vase in a closet, a couple of years after his father died in 9/11, nine-year-old Oskar discovers a key . . .The key belonged to his father, he’s sure of that. But which of New York’s 162 million locks does it open?So begins a quest that takes Oskar – inventor, letter-writer and amateur detective – across New York’s five boroughs and into the jumbled lives of friends, relatives and complete strangers. He gets heavy boots, he gives himself little bruises and he inches ever nearer to the heart of a family mystery that stretches back fifty years. But will it take him any closer to, or even further from, his lost father?”

This book is a true little patch of emotions, that will bring everyone through a phase of thinking, either when reading it or when having finished it. This boy is so well written, the stories, thoughts and advent ours are so scurril, still so haunting. I loved the writing style of the author, the changes between time and persons are quite irritating at first, but to me all made sense while going further into the plot. It is a bit like a maze/adventure for the boy and so you feel when reading from the past and the present. Not only does this book contain multiple facts I did not know but loved to read about, but it did also entertain with pictures forming in your head of beautiful packed apartments and sights in New York. Coming to my last point, it’s New York babe, it’s worth it! Go n’ read.

London, if you can’t tell, hell. :))

Holidays, another point checked off my Wishlist #3, haha.

On me Youtube this month: SunBeamsJess and her v-log channel

I have been really thinking about the vegan, vegetarian hype and I am not sure if I think about it all, than how I thought about it a month ago, because I am not feeling very good. Yup I’ve said it and yup, I know animals are dying (I am not a person who closes they eyes again) but I’ve talked to really nice people who told me how much milk the animals they have give and for how long. I am loving vegan food, but i am not feeling good anymore either, so yeah. Thinking again. You always have to find your way, for now I am staying vegan, but I am not sure I can make it that strictly. I actually want fall, yup that is weird. I have love painting, doodling this month and I will be happy to do all that all summer now.

Fav. Blogs this Month :

Effy Stonem (Skins uk) Makeup

4f8ed657df69bb6e7a8e77d0ca86bfb1_Fotor_CollageHello World, another Skins post, because I really like the series, especially Effy. Again, she’s really beautiful and has great style, but I wouldn’t suggest you to copy everything she does. Take care.

Picture inspiration here and here

Alverde Eyebrow-gel in 02 (dark brown)

Chanel Le Crayon Yeux, precision eye definer noir/black (Khol Eyeliner)

Essence jumbo duo eye pencil from the series ‘Snow Jam'(old)

Catrice Camourflage Cream (Concealer) in020 Light Beige

Artdeco Dip Eyeliner in 6 (metallic-blue)

Diy Contour, see this post

(these are my natural eyelashes, I kind of don’t like wearing mascara, they are quiet long naturally, so no need, really)

I ‘lined’ my outer eyes and the crease with the black eyeliner and smudged  it in with my fingers, so that the hollow is more deep and my lash line is darker. Then I made quite a thin winged eyeliner (mine was blue, because that’s the only one I had, but could also use black) and added some of the black eyeliner on top of it again (this time without smudging). I followed to put some black eyeliner on the bottom lash line and lined my water line with the black eyeliner (upper and lower, there only half of it).I put some of my green/blueish eyeliner from Catrice of a limited edition on my lower waterline and on my inner corners. The other side of this pencil has a highlighter (blue-white), so I put that on my inner corner, too. To balance out the look and define my eyebrows, like Effy’s are I brushed them in shape with some colored eyebrow gel. To lighten up the eyes I put some concealer on my under eye-area. She wears this look for a ‘party’ in the woods, I think that would be the right place to wear such a dark smokey eye, but wear whatever you want, I wore this to go grocery shopping, too, haha.

Again, I can only advise you to watch Skins, my favorite generations are 1 & 2, I kind of get tired at watching the third generation, but they are still good.

  • Share 5 facts about yourself.
  • Nominate 10 blogs and add their blog links.
  • Notify the bloggers that you nominated for the award.
  • Pass the rules along.

5 facts about me:

  • I like to call myself creative because I love every kind of art, like watercolor; oil; pencil; graphite; sharpies; also photography; etc. and it is also my favorite subject in school.
  • I love writing, especially like in a diary, because I can write all my feelings off, it sort of erases them from my mind and I love looking back to old entry’s I’ve done. Kind of like blogging, right?
  • I love food, I could eat it every minute and I can eats loads of it, but I am also a vegetarian and I like good food, so that makes it a little bit of a smaller range.
  • I am really self-conscious, I try to please everyone all the time, and if I act weird or too loud it spooks around my mind for hours and it gets worse every time I think about it, fashion for me is to wear what I want and to express myself, I try not to think about what other people say to me and just do what I want then.
  • My favorite books are Harry Potter and would have loved to be born in England with a talent for acting and at the right age to play a role in the movie adaption, preferably Hermoine, but Emma Watson was amazing, so I still love watching every little scene.

I nominate:
